Returns On European Leveraged Loans Hit 4-Month High

Leveraged loans in Europe gained 0.29% in November, the most in four months, bringing year-to-date returns for the asset class to 4.51%, according to the European Leveraged Loan Index (ELLI).

These recent gains, while unspectacular, are in contrast to the U.S. leveraged loan market, which in November suffered through its worst month of the year, retreating 0.88%, bringing returns for 2015 (through Nov. 30) to 0.37%. They've since dippsed to 0.31%.- Staff reports
