Research Analyst

Wade Holden is a Research Analyst for Kagan research with a specific focus in the Motion Picture and Home Video segments. He is a major contributor to the Economics of TV & Film feature, producing numerous reports on an annual basis, and oversees the weekly Box Office Report, maintaining a comprehensive film database in the process. In addition, he covers portions of the VOD market.

Mr. Holden is also the lead analyst for the State of Home Entertainment databook and makes contributions to the Media Trends and Advertising Forecasts databooks. In addition, he serves as a consultant for the firm’s Consulting Services, providing comparable film sales analysis, custom data sorts and valuing feature films.

Mr. Holden began working at S&P Global Market Intelligence in August 1998 as a databooks editor. In October 1999, he crossed over to the media analyst group. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Holden attended York College of Pennsylvania, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a writing concentration.
